Cedar Necklace

Cedar has long been sacred to the indigenous people of Turtle Island. It is purifying, healing, cleansing and adds protection. This cedar pendant is cast from actual cedar using an old jewelry technique similar to lost wax casting. The dried cedar burns away and the molten bronze is injected into the hollow space. The pendant is then silver plated and given an oxidized finish. Lovely paired with the cedar earrings. Handcrafted in British Columbia by Justine Brooks. ~2cm charm, bronze/silver plated with 18″sterling silver fine club chain.
